Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the EZKeel website, command-line interface, agent binary, and hosted dashboard (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Beta status
EZKeel is in private beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. Data may be wiped during the beta period; we will give reasonable notice when feasible. Pricing during beta may be discounted or free and is not a commitment to any specific future price.
Account responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential and for all activity under your account.
- The servers you connect to EZKeel (your VPS, your Hetzner account) remain yours. You are responsible for the data you store on them and for keeping their credentials safe.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
Acceptable use
You may not use EZKeel to:
- Host content or run code that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights, or distributes malware.
- Attack, scan, or interfere with EZKeel's infrastructure or any third party's infrastructure.
- Send unsolicited bulk email or operate phishing or fraud infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer the hosted dashboard for the purpose of building a competing service while a paid customer; ordinary inspection of the open-source CLI is fine and is what the MIT license permits.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with notice when feasible.
Open source
The EZKeel CLI (the cli/ directory of the EZKeel
source repository) is open source under the MIT license; see
cli/LICENSE.
The hosted dashboard and the rest of the EZKeel source are proprietary
and governed by the repository's NOTICE file and these
terms. Nothing in these terms restricts your rights under the MIT
license for the CLI.
Fees
Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe. Prices and plan features are listed at ezkeel.com/#pricing. You can cancel from the Stripe customer portal at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period. We do not refund partial periods.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not currently offer an SLA. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may schedule maintenance windows or take the Service offline to ship critical fixes.
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZKeel's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard. We can terminate the Service or your account, with notice when feasible, if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email if you have an account, or by a banner on the homepage. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Italy.
